From nostalgic breakcore (‘One in the Chamber’), bringing back the aggressive sounds that have been lost for far too long to classic Warp-era IDM (‘Watercolor’). Experimental modular synthesis with crushing amens and brutal kicks to get your heart rate up and push your meters to the red zone to thick ambient synth textures to melt away to. Random improvisation mixed with controlled chaos. A journey through sound from the harsh (‘Temper’) to the beautiful (‘Watercolor’) pushing active listening over passive – with a midpoint (‘Ballast’) to balance the weight of typically opposing sound design and temperament.

A month of participating in “jamuary”, “an invitation to create and share a song every day in the month of January”, has resulted in an album of rushed energetic productions and exploration of electronic music styles ranging from Nostalgic Breakcore, Minimal Techno, Rhythmnoise, Jungle, Sludge Dub, Glitch and IDM.

Berenice Llorens is a guitarist, sound artist, producer and dj of experimental electronic music from Córdoba, Argentina. Her original works and dj/live performances are characterized by experimentation, creativity and the focus to break free from and push the boundaries of traditional genres and structures.
The Berlin-based composer is able to unleash her creativity and create new and unexpected sounds and ideas creating different states of psychedelic dance floor experiences. Her unique blend of techniques and genres of sound art as Deep Listening, free improvisation, and the use of field recordings brought to club music creates an immersive and dynamic experience for listeners, offering a fresh perspective on the sonorities of techno, ambient and experimental music. Berenice is able to capture and incorporate the natural and urban sounds around her, adding a layer of realism and complexity to her mixes. She has played in clubs and art spaces in Argentina, Berlin, and her works were exhibited at renowned festivals such as Mutek Montreal, Centro de arte Sonoro among others. As a member of the Amplify DAI women's network, she produced and curates the Amplify Radio programme and also she produces the radio show "Beyond of line" on Refuge WorldWide.

As we prepare to launch the fourth season of Bella Ursa, our interstellar odyssey takes us back into the infinite intricacies of the Aranea Nebula. 

Once again, we welcomed aboard the mothership new like-minded explorers from uncharted territories. Together, we’ve tried to unearth hidden paths through the ethereal darkness, rooted in the timeless traditions of EBM and Wave music. Weaving a sonic tapestry that spans close to 90 minutes on our beloved analog cassette tape, Nebula Aranea #3 takes you on a journey into the unwavering cosmic fervor that has been driven us for the past 3 years.

It will be released on a beautiful UV printed cassette with a visual by Ursa MVP Bill Noir, but also as digital on all platforms.

| PREMIERE | Infesta - Vincitori | [Bella Ursa]

I started this track with a very simple idea and objective: To write a dance track without an obvious happy mood; something that could be more ambiguous than most of the compositions I create. To achieve this, I started building chords using only blacks keys, and then I allowed myself to use some whites. What did I get after a few minutes plying and trying? Right, a B Major scale. My subconscious just overpasses my consent desires in music (and surely, in a lot of other things).

This melody starts as an ambient melody with a lot of internal tracks and elements (may be too much), and after a few minutes evolves to just 5 internal tracks, 2 drum tracks and 3 tone tracks making it more simple and easy to hear.
