In the Christian world to which we belong, the Advent season has begun and there has even been a bit of snow in some places, just like in our city. The Christmas season is perhaps also a good time to say thank you. We were lucky enough to grow up in families who looked after us and did everything they could to make us happy. Unfortunately, that's not always the case. Sometimes you only remember to say thank you when someone falls seriously ill or dies and you realize what that person has done for you. One day it may be too late to say thank you- nobody lives forever. This song is a big thank you to our parents and families. In this sense, it is also our contribution to the Christmas season, even if it is not a real Christmas song. We wish everyone a Merry Christmas time, including of course those who do not belong to the Christian world.

Plus Fort  avec Did Wilkops

Found this piece of music on old tape of mine by surprise (didn't remember it up to this moment). Written and recorded 34 years ago with a 4 channel mixer and a HiFi tape recorder. I thought I had to re-record it because the old one sounded somewhat noisy and so as I recorded it again anyway, I added some little details. So after 30 years maybe the journey of this little song has come to a stop rather than to the end. Because it tells the story about loving the thought of eternity, although it feels impossible to imagine a thing like eternity or maybe just because of it.

Greetings! Each song is a chapter from the book of my life. I hope you enjoy, dance and day dream to my music.
            Born in Chicago by Canadian immigrants, we moved to Florida when I was a kid. I remember always laughing and playing with family, friends, and our German Shepard.  We would explore and discover many beautiful plants and creatures in the forest or at the beach. I learned to play violin before guitar and was active in garage bands or tackle football with friends. I traveled a lot with my parents and later as a career janitor, working mainly in the brewing industry where I met interesting people.  I am currently working on a novel and enjoy spending my time writing poetry and making up songs. I also have the privilege to teach guitar at the School of Rock, Tampa North. The owner of this location is my dear Smokin' Havanas bandmate, Chuck Roeh
