A short, theatrical piece for solo bassoon, I wrote "Lurch" to perform a Dada themed banquet presented by the Auckland Art Gallery Foundation in May 2016. It is dedicated to Judy Millar, who was the artistic director for this fantastic event (also featuring food by Peter Gordon!).

I don't have a lot of fancy thing but I'm happy with what I got
I prefer a plain cheeseburger to one with the lot

it's the simple things matter the most
