David Wiegand has been Producing original studio tracks and remixes since 1999. David has also been a DJ since 1992.

Starting with early house music David would blend longer remixes together and mix them with more melodic tracks to produce "trance like" sounds. This was how David set his mark as a dj. Later as the trance genre evolved so did his sets. Not sticking to any single style of trance David combined all types together. This made for long sets that went on all night. 

David spins his sets without the use of computers, he uses 4 decks(2 CD and 2 vinyl) and a mixer. David loves the new technology that is out now for DJ's and Producers, However David does not want to loose his roots of "Disc Jockey". 

David Wiegand has held many dj residencies, he has always talked about The Temple of Sound in Portland Or. as his favorite. "The crowds were always up for it. It was always a great night" The Temple of Sound has since closed, but it will always be a great memory for those who got to witness the magic there. 

2008 marked the release of David Wiegand's first artist album My World. 2012 the new album The Future/Retro EP was release. This is a collection of original works played during The Future/Retro Podcast show.
