HoneyLuv makes her debut on Danny Howard’s Nothing Else Matters imprint this January, teaming up with New York DJ, producer, singer-songwriter and vocalist, Roland Clark for their brand-new single, ‘This Is My Life’.

Crowned Radio 1’s Future Star of 2023, HoneyLuv has taken the Dance scene by storm in recent years with support from MK, Nicole Moudaber, Mau P, Arielle Free, Matthias Tanzmann and Low Steppa, with releases signed to Black Book, Insomniac, Higher Ground, All We Have Is Now and more. Roland on the otherhand has worked and co-produced music with many of the greats including Fatboy Slim, Mark Knight, Todd Terry, Roger Sanchez and Bob Sinclair with his vocals considered the “voice of House”.

One of the rare few that can bring you an electrifying DJ set and at the same time get on the mic and give you a performance unlike no other. Making for the perfect pairing, ‘This Is My Life’ looks set to propel both artists to even greater heights and is sure to be a firm favourite at clubs and festivals worldwide this year.

The track is the result of a special collaboration with La Morena del Chicamocha, a talented and socially committed transgender singer from Colombia. La Morena del Chicamocha is a prominent figure in the Latin American music scene and uses her art to promote transgender rights through music and live performances, not only in Colombia but also internationally. Her distinctive voice and powerful message deeply impressed me, inspiring me to create a track that celebrates the richness of Latin culture and the fight for civil rights.



The project has been a creative journey lasting almost a year, involving numerous trials and iterations. The result is a unique sound that fully embodies the style of my successful productions. The elements of the track, including La Morena del Chicamocha's voice, the instruments, and the percussion, give particular strength to the lyrics, which tell the stories of transgender people fighting for their rights. The melody, with its upbeat mood, conveys a positive vibe and pays homage to this struggle in an engaging and cheerful way.
