The first single to the album I'm working on.

Writing Search began with just wanting to make something different. I was looking for a sound that would describe what I wanted in this darker experimental album (I was originally planning on having this as the first song on the album). Search is a mellow song, but as it plays, there is still some buildup. Once it gets to the middle where the are four on the floor/faster paced drums, it can be seen as the more energetic or even anxious part of searching for something. Then, it calms down again in order to fit in with the progression of the album. Search is the song that I wrote first and helped me shape the rest of the album, the title means looking for what I really wanted out of my music, and not just writing happy dance songs.
