Ahmed El Ghazoly aka ZULI, is a multi-instrumentalist, producer, and sound artist from Cairo, Egypt. He is co-founder of VENT, a music venue turned club night that played an important role in the rise of the city’s underground electronic music scene. His debut album Terminal was released to great acclaim on Lee Gamble's UIQ label. He recently dropped One, a sound collage including his first new music in two years as well field recordings from Cairo, encapsulating a city under curfew during the pandemic. 
His wild, euphoric DJ set at Unsound 2019 took place at a very different time, in Hotel Forum's Chandelier Room in the early morning, packed with dancers. ZULI describes it as "treading the line between experimental and dancefloor drum sounds".
