David Cane-Hardy has devoted a 38-year career to music education and won many prestigious awards. 

His commitment to helping students develop a passion for music is well known and has earned him an International Rotary Award and a Runner-Up place in the National Classic fm Music Teacher of the Year competition.

After a gap of many years David returned to playing the guitar upon the death of singer/songwriter John Martyn. 

Martyn's smooth, unique style inspired David to experiment with different techniques such as reverb, delay and echo effects - all of which resonate through his music.

David Cane-Hardy's debut album is titled 'Life & Love' and is a personal collection of memories with family, friends and 'moments' in life. 

He describes his tracks as chill-out music, with hints of hypnotic and trance sounds.
