Day Drinking (Radio Edit)

I wrote this song while I was on vacation at Lake Placid. It was late.. must have been around 2 am. The last crackle of a dying ember in the fire caught my attention and I looked out the window. There was a weightless quiet and gentle light snow falling illuminated by the distant glow of an amber street lamp. I remember that feeling so vividly. I wanted to capture it in a solo piano piece and it is called "Placid". I hope you enjoy!

ESPN radio had a competition for a football jingle about 5 years ago and they never got my submission until it was too late... there was a problem with the server or something.. Joey Salvia from the Michael K show loved it but that's as far as it went. Obviously its a rough demo but you get the idea... now PLEASE somebody help me get this into the hands of ANYBODY at ESPN!!!
