This is a Demo that I mixed for a local band in Rockford, IL called Pink Beam. They did all the tracking themselves at home and I mixed it all down in Pro Tools.

Binural Breathing

A futuristic reinvention of the classic David and Goliath story.

This was a school project for my Interactive Media class.  I built a custom module that generates the synthetic absorption sound heard in the piece, conceptualized the story, wrote the script, tracked the dialogue, created the sound design, wrote and performed the music (with exception from the chase sequence near the end) and mixed the master session.

Dark Steel

My uncle was a greatly talented, yet troubled man. He battled with his demons for quite some time and ultimately lost the war. Fortunately, I was able to capture a couple live performances from him using a Tascam field recorder. These two performances were done so well that I was able to layer them on top of one another, only having to adjust timing on the second performance to match the first. There's even an instance where he accidentally sang a melody that harmonizes with the other take. There are no overdubs, no alternate takes, no audio tricks. This is just him and his piano - twice. 

My uncle Travis was, and continues to be an inspiration for me. I'm more than blessed to have had him in my life, and I'm excited to share this with the world.
