Canadian native Moox brings four 90s-tinged deep house cuts vibes to this fresh platter for the 20th release on FRI. 

He taps into nostalgic house feels on the EP "This Moment" which is a beautifully simple-crafted but effective deep cut EP with a sonic aesthetic rich of punchy 909 drum rhtyms and characteristic deep liquid chords and pads.

"Elevate" is a sneaky late night creeper, driving on waves of long sustained chords with nimble modulated stabs that deepen the trance continuum.

"This moment is your life" is a sentence that will stay echoing in your ears after this track. What makes this track remarkable is the evocative vocals, which are smoothly blended with the sound atmosphere. "This Moment" will surely provoke some emotions in the listener.

Rendez Vous is yet another deep house roller that, thanks to its bouncy Rhoades chords and jazzy rhythm parts, is perfectly capable of standing alongside the deep house classics of the 1990s, while on "Early Bird", Moox takes more of a dubby minimalistic approach.

Originally released in the late ’90s, Marius Acke’s Crucial Traxx EP series is one of those rare gems — deep, funky, soulful, and full of the raw, analog groove that defines the golden age of house. Missed by many at the time, the records are now enjoying a well-deserved revival, championed by today’s leading selectors like Dam Swindle, ANOTR, Chris Stussy, Jamie Jones, Disclosure, Barry Can't Swim, Salute, Chloé Caillet, Known Artist, Sidney Charles, Shonky, Danny Howard and more.

Already a respected figure in the Antwerp scene back then, Marius Acke had co-produced numerous records for Mixz Productions and the iconic ARS label, including remixes for acts like Technotronic. His sound blended US-influenced house with early hip-hop sensibilities and deep, synth-laced textures, earning him a cult following among vinyl diggers and local DJs alike.

Happiness Therapy is proud to give new life to this essential piece of Belgian house history with a reissue of the Crucial Traxx EP series. All tracks have been carefully remastered and will be available on both vinyl and digital formats, including a special limited edition of 100 translucent red vinyl copies. HTCT01 marks the beginning of a reissue series dedicated to the lost gems of Marius Acke’s discography.

More than just a nostalgic reissue, this EP reminds us how visionary Acke’s sound truly was. Rooted in the 90s, but crafted with a timeless sense of balance and soul.

Premiere: Folamour 'These Are Just Places To Me Now'

The Portuguese Dj/Producer has started to build a reputation for his techno and tech house grooves.
David Ismael brings high energy onto dance floors and always seeks the most meaningfull and potent energies that electronic music as to offer.
What was merely a passion became an addiction for him. As a producer he has his very own style, producing high quality techno and tech house music year after year. 
In 2009 he was invited to do his first commercially available remix, allowing him to start realising his dreams.

In 2011 he reached No.9 in the Top 100 at Trackitdown with “Human Bounce”.

He hit the charts again in 2012 with “Africa Returns” and “Africa Returns (AfricaTribe)” after being requested to release an EP by the same American record label who released his previous chart success. These achieved places in the Top100 Techhouse on Audiojelly.
With these productions catching traction early on, this opened the door to sharing his own style and vibe with others through DJ sets in many high profile clubs in his home country and further afield.
The ongoing successes he has had culminated in the release of his 1st Album “In The Dark Of The Night” in 2017, followed swiftly by the release of several singles and EP´s. His 2nd Album “Line Of Faith” was released in 2021 gaining attention from music enthusiasts and media internationally.
Moving between Portugal, Italy and the UK whilst working on his latest projects this has allowed him to widen his scope musically, bringing more finesse and musical influence to his future works. This experienced Producer and DJ has many more banging tracks to bring to the Techno and Techhouse scene.
