Calling All Astronauts continuously defy their DIY status. Their 130,000 genuine Twitter followers have pushed them to No1 on the Hypem Twitter Music Chart 
on no fewer than 5 occasions. They have a large international Blog, Webzine and Radio following too, resulting in their singles being played continuously across the globe.

No strangers to the big stage either they have played shows alongside the likes of Roger Daltrey, Echo & The Bunnymen, PWEI and A Place To Bury Strangers and have played both Guilfest and Kendal Calling Festivals.

Whilst at Musepo 14 in Los Angeles, CAA were approached to provide the soundtrack for the Movie production company Boom Op Films for their promo trailer.

2015 looks set to be an outstanding year for London based Electro Alt Rock three-piece Calling All Astronauts. They have already seen their 240,000 strong followers on their verified Twitter account help get their 2013 single to number 1 in the Twitter Music Chart to celebrate lead singer, David B’s birthday on Jan 25th and as a precursor to their eagerly awaited second album they release their first single of 2015, “Show Me Love” (a take on the 80s classic) on March 22nd via Supersonic Media.

They have stamped the Robin S dancefloor classic with their signatory Calling All Astronauts sound whilst managing to recreate Stonebridge’s fat synths and awesome topline hook. They have added a bassline to rival a Daft Punk floorfiller, courtesy of new Bassist, Paul McCrudden, formerly of The Marionettes. J’s overdriven guitars crash and bash throughout while David B’s dark vocal completes what is either the rockiest house track or the housiest rock track you’ll hear this year!

The package is completed by a stripped down dub remix from Supersonic Media’s new kid on the block, Croatian Tech House producer Wraith. A moody cut up affair that is bound to smash many a dancefloor in the coming months.

Supersonic Media are proud to present “Anti-Social Network” the eagerly awaited second album from London based Alt Rock three-piece Calling All Astronauts. Containing their hit single “Empire” (which is currently #3 in the Official European Indie Chart after it hit #1 on the Hypem Chart on the day of its November release),  “Anti-Social Network” is the follow up to their critically acclaimed debut “Post Modern Conspiracy”. It is the result of 20 months of insane creativity that saw the guys locked in their studio for days on end as they wrote, engineered and produced an album that stretched their creativity like never before. 
The thought that they mash together Rock, Electro, Goth, DnB, Punk and EDM into a unique genre that is remotely listenable seems somewhat preposterous until you listen to “Anti-Social Network”. They have in no way tried to hide their love for classic Alternative Rock, instead they have brought it firmly into the 21st Century. Known for not being ones to mince their words, Calling All Astronauts once again dig deep into the fabric of society. There are no elephants in their room as they take on controversial matters including; youth knife crime in “Hands Up Who Wants To Die”, the war for oil in “Divisive”, social inequalities in “Time To Fight Back” and the disposable consumer driven society in “God Is Dead”. Yet they still manage to explore their softer side in “Empire”, “Life As We Know It” and “Always Be True”. Producer and vocalist David B says “We wanted to make an album we would buy ourselves, that pays homage to our heroes and many influences whilst still sounding like us. I think we’ve just about got there”
The cover artwork is photograph of a sculpture by South African artist Maurice Mbiyaki which just happens to be called “Anti-Social Network” the band felt it very much summed up the reason they had independently named their album the same. They approached the artist who said he’d “be honoured” if the guys used his art on their sleeve.

Released by Supersonic Media on June 3rd, "Time To Fight Back" is the second single from Calling All Astronauts latest album "Anti-Social Network", described as Prodigyesque this Metal meets Drum And Bass mashup is the follow up to their smash hit "Empire" which reached #2 in the Official European Indie Chart in January 2016, It comes complete with a David CAA VIP Remix and a studio recorded version of their live fave cover of The Stooges "I Wanna Be Your Dog". Calling All Astronauts will play their only UK Festival appearance of 2016 at Beautiful Days in August. 

Calling All Astronauts are a London based, politically charged three-piece who rose from the ashes of ‘US:UK’. Featuring vocalist/programmer/producer David B, ex-Caffeine guitarist J Browning and Marionettes bassist Paul McCrudden, 
Calling All Astronauts blend electro, rock, post-punk and even dubstep to a sound that ignites and engulfs.

Since their incarnation in 2012, the trio have racked up a slew of accolades including four Number One’s in the Twitter Music Charts (knocking Adele from the top spot), having their latest single “Empire” notch up a three-month stint in the ‘Official European Indie Chart’ peeking at Number 2, and sharing stages with the likes of Echo & The Bunnymen, PWEI, Sigue Sigue Sputnik and A Place To Bury Strangers. The band have also headlined and sold out ‘Alan Magee's Death2Disco’ at Notting Hill Arts Club. 

The electro punks have a prolific output, releasing seven singles and two albums to date; this has helped the band pick up a swell of support from all four corners of the globe with numerous rock and alternative radio shows taking the band into their hearts by putting them on heavy rotation. The threesome have been featured on BBC Introducing, and were invited into the studio by Tom Robinson for his BBC 6 Music show. Their underground attitude to video production has also received great praise from many, including Irvine Welsh, who, after viewing the video for ‘What’s So Good About’, proclaimed it as ‘Brilliant’.

Calling All Astronauts - Winter Of Discontent

London based, politically charged, alternative rock three-piece, Calling All Astronauts, release their third single “What’s So Good about?” on December 2nd 2012. Despite being totally DIY they have been creating quite a stir. So far, in their brief career they have opened for A Place To Bury Strangers, Roger Daltrey, Pop Will Eat Itself and Echo And The Bunnymen to name a few, as well as selling out Alan Magee’s “Death2Disco” in their own right and have already been confirmed for major festivals in 2013. Their two previous singles, “Someone Like You” and “Winter Of Discontent” received plays on countless radio stations worldwide including BBC 6Music, RTE, Q Radio and Amazing Radio, which has seen them joining far more established acts by remaining on rotation on many alternative rock stations. 
The anarchic techno punk anthem highlights how a greed orientated society has become blinkered to those less fortunate through its obsession with fame and consumerism. The Echoboy Bounce remix brings CAA to the dance floor with a full on EDM mix that proves that dance can rock!
