First you will learn when, where and why to move the rook after castling. Then comes a trippy Romanian pastoral epic dedicated to our favourite chess grandmaster, Elisabeta P, followed by a nostalgic tribute to Albatros based on Bobby Fischer's last words. From there we keep it oriental, like the origins of chess. Here is a gypsy charade that was commissioned by and firstly performed at the Evicted Women Fashion Parade 2013. In the end, although Bach might not agree, we do not hesitate to exchange the bishop for a knight.

Check out the brand new Acid Hamam E.P - Hammok on Tom Tom Disco (@richardrossa), the long awaited follow up on Soul Sirocco from last year. The one that got 10/10 in DJ mag review and got the stamp of approval from artists far and wide.

This release is a bit more lush and melodic, and includes a remix from local producer and DJ partner Victor Norman (Heimlich Music, etc). However, lots of wonkiness to enjoy including funky cumbia, arabic desert blues, Scandinavian poetry and acid-folklore-elements.

Falling in love

Johannes Klingebiel and the musicians of the Contrast Trio go way back. Both originally hailing from Frankfurt, they took their first musical steps playing together in various kinds of jazz groups (Johannes starting out as a drummer). So it only feels like a logical step for Johannes to rebuild one of their tunes, the sprawling "Sondernamen", a piece of music written for Frankfurt's "Luminale" festival. Resulting in two complimentary remixes, Johannes re-arranges the puzzle pieces, finding connections in the free floating energies of jazz and house music.

"La vida" is a tribute to some specific memories, moments in life that marked me. Feelings translated into melodies and rhythms to dance and appreciate.

Son. is an imaginary character created by Andrés Navarro, in the beginning we can find him exploring, changing appearance constantly in his illustrations.

His works are full of abstract landscapes proposed by the Mexican musician and illustrator, creating hypnotic and eclectic atmospheres.
