I originally wrote the lyrics to this track as a Goth styled punky rock song but the idea of producing it as a jazz track came to me while I was recording it and couldn't get it to sound quite right in the original form.
So here's my first Goth Jazz track!!

Lady with the Hearse

An extended version of a song I wrote about a situation that must be familiar to almost anyone, but nobody talks about, when your body is desperate but you’re out somewhere miles from home and there’s literally nowhere to go! I chose the image of an astronaut because it symbolises the feeling of being trapped inside a situation which has only one outcome, and sooner or later you have to accept your fate 🫣!

This track began as a remembrance poem I wrote many years ago but wasn’t ever finished until recently, with the emphasis on a wish for a peaceful world.
I hope my words and gentle music will provide a moment to pause and reflect on humanity and history.
