🚨About our artist:

DAVID ANDERSON KIRK’s music career began in earnest as a classically trained drummer, materializing in a ripe 15 year run playing in Post Punk outfits. Behind closed doors he developed a love for electronic music production, teaching himself all aspects of sound design and theory.

After retiring from band life he sought to bring his music to life, and released his first full length EP in 2019 - titled “Luft”. An unconventional love letter to Acid Techno, followed by an onslaught of self released music from his years producing in secret.

He began performing his music shortly thereafter, performing in San Francisco’s underground, playing raves and parties- and it was a natural step to come in to the club scene. As a relatively unknown DJ in the scene he made a splash with the Set Underground collective- opening for some house music legends such as Armen Miran, Nick Warren, and Hernan Cattaneo.

A guiding philosophy of ‘saying yes’ to all collaborative inquests- he co-produced the Original Soundtrack to hit video game “Gorilla Tag” and inserted his love for dance music grooves into the score. The commercial success of the game has garnered a massive listenership- and highlights the breadth of his work.

“The most neck breaking playlist, highly listenable, affectionate and alienating” (Adam Kaplan, Netflix). Rather than being pigeon holed into one sound, he’s determined to demonstrate that the mother genre of Techno is indeed any sound, and vibe, reconstituted for dancing. Currently he has multiple releases scheduled for 2025 and 2026, and continues to write, collaborate and perform.

Label newcomer, Montreal-based artist, Gawina, provides luscious, ethereal vocal textures paying homage to her First Nations roots, complimenting the percussion-heavy instrumental foundation, replete with dissonant chord progressions throughout the ride.

She writes “With this track, I journeyed into the spirit of my Indigenous roots. I let their essence rise through layered vocals—echoes that ripple across time. They move in harmony with the pulse of Indie Dance, threading ancestral memory into the fabric of the present.”

The last Saturo release featuring Akiva and Ivan James, “When We Touch”, smashed the melodic, progressive and indie dance charts. To say we are excited for this one is an understatement.
