Story
Eguzki & Ilargi. The Dance of the Two Skies
In the beginning, when the world still had no name, Eguzki burned alone in the sky, a golden fire that sang without ceasing. Its light was so intense that trees bent, rivers evaporated, and creatures hid in the shadows. Eguzki was strength, it was rhythm, it was eternal day.
But the world longed for rest.
From the deep waters of the Urtzi, Ilargi emerged, the silver Moon, woven with threads of silence and reflections. Ilargi did not speak, but her presence calmed. Where Eguzki burned, Ilargi caressed. Where Eguzki screamed, Ilargi whispered.
Eguzki saw her and stopped. For the first time, the Sun stopped singing.
"Who are you, who extinguishes my fire without words?" Eguzki asked.
"I am the pause between your notes," Ilargi replied. "I am the shadow that shapes your light."
From then on, they began their dance. Never together, but always in dialogue. Eguzki crossed the sky with a firm step, and when he retreated, Ilargi ascended with his cloak of mystery. Sometimes, they brushed against each other during eclipses, and the world held its breath.
Humans, seeing them, created songs. They said Eguzki was the heart of the day, and Ilargi, the soul of the night. They said they were lovers condemned to distance, or brothers who guarded the extremes of time.

All the music included in this EP has been recorded live in one summer afternoon afternoon in Villa Dionisi (VR, Italy) and is the result of the feelings I had while I was recording, eyes closed, everything in one single take.

Fabrizio plays a Yamaha C7 felted grand piano.

Summer story

Perseverance is an often underrated masculine quality. The ability and will to keep going with a purpose, even when other things for a while will take focus, or interrupt. Humbly this describes a part of myself, and also the process of this piece of music, which has taken 15 months to finish. But here it finally is. Due to perseverance, it is there,  and I think you can hear the perseverance in the trance like pace of the whole track. Enjoy <3 O:)Updated 2020-12-04 with new 24bit remastered version
