After a successful debut album, here comes the third and final part of the series “Malditos BONUS TRAXXX!” which includes two tracks in two different dance music trends, showing the know-how of this French duo of electronic music lovers. This time it is included a remix done by BSD themselves of one of the tracks released in their album "Malditos BASS-STAR-DOS!"

“Phantasmagoria” is pure energy, Dirty-Tech-Funk in capital letters. Imagine a mansion full of ghosts trapped in an infinite dance, unable to stop, unable to disappear behind the walls and all filmed from the stairs by your camera, while thinking: "Damn, my friends are not going to believe that!" Once again BSD demonstrate their versatility in musical production, their sound culture, and that they are not from this planet. Hum! Are they also ghosts from beyond? Everything is possible with this duo.

 La necessità della formazione Bit Riders é quello di un ritorno alle origini della musica techno, ormai troppo inflazionata dai minimalismi degli ultimi anni, le radici musicali del duo, sprofondano infatti in un meltinpot di generi musicali spesso agli antipodi, tra il funk anni 70 e la protojungle inglese dei primi 90. E' una ricerca musicale in cui la techno deve per forza attraversare molte sfaccettature e contaminazioni. Bit Riders non è solo selezione musicale, ma è anche produzione musicale; considerano il campionatore arma indispensabile e Alessandro, parte produttiva del duo,  porta avanti una passione sfrenata per synth e drum machine, che inevitabilmente conduce al voler sperimentare anche un progetto live. Le sue tracce man mano si discostano sempre più dei temi modaioli, andando in una direzione tutta sua che lo porta ad essere guardato con interesse da molte label che ne apprezzano l'originalità, come la canadese Restructured che consegna la sua ultima traccia Regret nelle mani di un colosso della techno come Laurent Garnier. Nel 2016 arriva anche la scelta di scindere il progetto Bit Riders che continua ad essere portato avanti da Alessandro.

BIO ENG:
Bit Riders is the name of a project created in 2008 by two Italian Djs, Fabio Dimaggio and Alessandro Cogo. Being particularly fond of electro music, during their live sets and in their music products, they merge the different styles that were the roots of their music culture, encompassing the '70s funk, Berlin techno, the '80s breakbeat and Detroit techno. Their signature is a fusion of the syncopated techno beats and the softer sounds of house music from Chicago. Their production set-up is mainly made of hardware systems, which allows the computer to combine the sounds. The same technique applies to their Live set, where all their production directly comes from.

After a successful debut album, the first release by the masked BSD in 2011 is coming...

"Malditos BONUS TRAXXX!" is the title of this piece divided into 3 EPs that collect some productions that were left off when developing the album "Malditos BASS-STAR-DOS!" as well as some remixes of the songs included in the aforementioned Long Play.

In this “Part 1” you can enjoy 2 tracks. First, an Electro-House remix of acclaimed “Compute” by BSD themselves, still retaining the original freshness with a new dirty funk twist that makes it have that look so street. 100% recommended for those moments of apotheosis in the Big Rooms at the most critical moments in the morning. We are not responsible for the effect in humans.

The second is an unreleased track entitled “Paramnesia”. Following the Tech-Funk beat, it immerge us into the world of memories after hypnotizing us through its bass-line and its suggestive sequences. While the sounds invade us, our mind is creating scenes that we thought to live and yet we have not.
