This Moroccan talent based in Hanoi continues to surprise us with his constant delivery of electrifying DJ sets. This time he opens us the doors of his inner self, and shares with us a tale of his music influences. The wandering is nourished with ethnicity and modern sound scaping, a beautiful ride for the mind and spirit.

Bio:
In the early beginnings of David’s musical journey, he stayed awake to tape-record live radio broadcasts by major Italian clubs, then created his original compilations, all with an old stereo. As soon as he laid hands on his first pair of Pioneer CDJ-100s in 2004, he began to spread his holistic, broad-minded collection of dance music with deep, funky, afro, tech, soulful, melodic to minimal house influences.

It brought him to Magazzini Generali, Amnesia, Leoncavallo, Milano Design Week and Milano Fashion Week in Italy, and to other parts of the world like Australia, Czech Republic, Germany, India, Indonesia, Japan, Macedonia, Malaysia, Maldives, Singapore, Spain, Taiwan, Thailand and Turkey, playing alongside artists like Nic Fanciulli, Davide Squillace, FISH56OCTAGON, Idriss D, Massano, Jeremy Olander, Guy J, Stephan Jolk, Giolì & Assia, EarthLife, DOBé, Cats on Crack, Rammo, Cosmo & Kramer, Rolandson, Francesco Farfa and Adriano Canzian.

Currently he is living in Singapore, and he is bringing his set in clubs and events like MDLR, Headquarters, Tuff Club, Kilo Lounge, Manifest, Ce La Vi, Tanjong Beach Club, Sunday Social and BeerFest Asia. During the pandemic he represented Singapore in one of United We Stream Asia sessions, a global initiative to support the music scene throughout the lockdown period (https://www.youtube.com/live/lvf3EiFz3Xk?feature=share&t=14749).

David’s love of radio also led him to host his own program, Sinestesia the exploration of 5 senses in music, since 2010 on the italian BM radio, and from 2020 on Ibiza Live Radio, 103.7 FM in Ibiza and Formentera and by mobile app and official website www.ibizaliveradio.com for the rest of the world. Apart from this, he is regularly featuring his guest mixes on international radios and podcast series such as Intaresu (GER), Deep MVMT (UK), Evaporate (TW), The Warehouse (VN), Voidrealm (MY) and Dub Techno TV, just to mention a few.

Production side, with his friend Michel Meroni, is part of the duo A1kS (A Thousand Shades), a collaboration that seeks to explore and express “a thousand shades” of electronic music. Armed with bonus knowledge of analog machines and music production software and sequencers, the duo has released their first single in 2020 on the Barcelona-based WOOD Records.
