This is the first time I’ve written a song about Christmas but in December 2022 this one came out and seeing it was the festive season I called it “Christmas Is the Best Time of the Year”. It’s kind of about growing up with my siblings in our old small family home in East Van all together with 8 kids 2 adults one dog and 1 bathroom. We didn’t have much but always had fun at Christmas Time.

"Zingo" Backstabber

A small tribute to our friend "Keith Scott" .  Keith was in a band with us called "Zingo" during the 70s in Vancouver, BC Canada for quite a few years before joining "Bryan Adams" Band and Recording "Cuts Like a Knife" in early 80s.  I have to say that when we first met Keith at 18-19 he was already a monster Guitar Player way beyond his years but then playing with him in "Zingo" listening every night for 5-6 years the whole Band was blown away at times, speechless you couldn't believe what you were hearing?  We had a Single released in the 70s in Europe on Harbor Records Label in London UK, and then released a Zingo Album of lost Recordings from the 70s years later in Jan 2016 on the Renegade Sounds Label which has been reviewed and played Worldwide.  Unfortunately we lost so many recordings, pictures, videos there is hardly anything that captures any of those very special moments.  This is a short Guitar Solo from Zingo Live Broadcast on CFOX 99.3 FM Radio from Gary Taylors Rock Room in Vancouver, BC Canada in late 70s.  Wish there were more recordings it just scratches the surface but fun to revisit.....
