To be honest with you, the title came last. Up until I finished the track I wasn't quite sure about what it actually means. Then, it turned out that it would be a pretty good racing track. Who would have known?

The title is a dead giveaway as to the kind of track that I have tried to compose with this piece, but my true inspiration has been Christopher Drake's work. 

I reckon there is also a bit of Christopher Young in there as well, but I'm not entirely sure! 

Regardless, this was a good exercise with trying to make a super aggressive, but still an orchestral cue.

Definitely one of my heaviest pieces! I think this one gives "The Lambda Protocol" a run for its money XD.

Been re-writing/writing this track for years and years now. This is now at a point where I am really happy with how it turned out!

Journey to The Treacherous Lands

Been re-listening to some of my older tracks lately, and some unreleased material, and found that there was just one song that bugged me. Not because I think I didn't do as good as I could have back when I released it, but because there was more to tell with the material. 

And, here it is! 

"Buck's Intro" would be the first track in a theoretical "Call of the Wild" movie, (one that is a heck of a lot closer to the book), but not without its moving bits. This would be the track to introduce Buck, our titular hero... hm... I guess hero of the story, if you could call him that. 

Jack London is one of my favorite authors, not just because of the material but the language he uses in a lot of his stories is great. 

Thought maybe I'd show my appreciation with my own...

Neither Thomas nor Sarah had any clue about the dangers they were to face in their pursuit for answers. Well, answers they have found... and something found them, feeding on their nightmares. A signal has been sent from beyond the sun. It told of a message. It told of a warning:

Dragons and knights, haunted mansions and sombre detectives, spaceships and unspeakable horrors... storytelling is my passion, and I hope to convey that passion through music that envelopes and grabs your attention, whether it be a quiet, atmospheric track, or a bombastic balls to the walls epic that will shake the speakers, and rattle the walls!

My name is David, and I am a musician and composer specializing in Argent Metal, Orchestral, and Dark Atmospheres. I have acquired a Level 3 Extended Diploma in Music Performance and Production in 2019, and subsequently started my three year course for a Bachelor's Degree in Creative and Commercial Music at the University of Suffolk. "Tales from Limbo" was the first album I released in February of 2021, which presented a collection of previously composed music that I had done up to that point in time, and was followed by the single "The Call of the Wild", a twelve minute orchestral suite of themes, and "At the Speed of Silence".
