Mihai Popoviciu of Sibiu, has been in the scene for a long while and could be considered one of the most innovative of the noticeably impressive Eastern European producers. This session is a clear example of his personable yet technical approach to a progressive dance floor orientated sound. A strong combination of influence in 90’s rave piled with tech house and minimal grooves. A strong set of emotions throughout in a perfectly constructed mix. Saboar ‘s music can be described as groovy and emotional. Based on the roots of techno and house he isn’t afraid to use them booth while melding organic with electronic on his musical journey.

He played at numerous events and festivals from Romania, making several visits abroad in France and Hungary to play at renowned clubs like A38, Le Pano, 360 Bar, La Troika, Telep, Fogasház, Kolor, sharing the stage with names like Andrey Pushkarev, James Zabiela, Barac. Gescu, Primarie, Mihai Popovicu, Vygo & Aleka, Suciu, Triptil, Florian Meffert, Po:ti, Vasiu, Dannilov and many more. 

In 2012 he began working with Infinity Sounds and Justmusic FM Budapest, through these organisation he had radio shows that were played in Mexico and Argentina.

In addition to the musical-work he also takes part in event organizing in Romania and Hungary. His latest concept - d.tales - are a series of events that were conceived in an effort to bring together like minded artists through electronic music as a universal language. The event series focuses on presenting international and native performers, and by giving them carte blanche to express their love of melody, is hoping to expose the audiences to the depth of the artistry in techno, minimal, and house scenes, to create bridges through music for those who share the same passion.

Co-founder of the group Perfusion they are promoting Romanian productions and offer something new with their unique style that already had been formed. The musical and live experience of Perfusion tends to a sound that is varied and unique, by getting influences from the past but with a focus on the future, adapting technological and cultural transformations.

We are glad to present this Source to Cycle podcast from Calou, a duo formed by two young Dj’s (Alexander Allemann & Werner Favila Wahlen) coming from a small forest near Bern (Switzerland). They had produced their first sounds in there, between the trees, under the bridges and on the streets of Bern. With their crew "Fraktion-Tanz" they conquered the city with legendary raves all around the town (as a part of "Tanz dich Frei" or "Brückenkinder" for example). Matteo Spedicati was born in Cagliari in 1980. His passion for music started at a young age with the study of the guitar. He spent his teenage years together with friends jamming in the studio and in garage bands. In the upcoming years he began to experiment with sequencers which was when he realized that he not only could compose his own guitar riffs but also scores of other instrumental elements.

As soon as he attended european clubs, Matteo was especially excited for the minimalist style of the period that took over in the european electronic music scene. In 2006 he released his first single on Gumption Recordings of Darmstadt. From that moment on, he commenced his work on a series of brilliant releases supported by world renown DJs and producers such as Ricardo Villalobos, Richie Hawtin, Marco Carola and many others.

He has worked with Joseph Capriati on CMYK, Alchemy and MIndshake,
Alessio Mereu on Toy for Boys, Mr. Bizz on Tuning Spork and Resopal and Mendo on Great Stuff.

Recently he’s releasing his music on labels such as Seth Troxler’s Play It
Say It, Davide Squillace’s This And That Lab and Jamie Jones’s Hot Creations

His ability to be a a great DJ and a great studio producer results in a musical line that can shake any dance floor while maintaining always a good level of class and sophistication.
