This song began with JJ on a late Saturday night, coming up with it on the drums, bass, and organ. He had a killer jazz groove on his mind when he composed it, and was able to really bring it to life on all levels. He originally wrote it as a solo piece, but asked me if I would like to add a guitar part. I jumped at the opportunity to play an original jazz song on his guitar, and in a few days, recorded about 20 takes of it. He finally landed on the one you hear in here now. 
  We asked Stephen to mix, master, and produce it for them, which he did in his typically professional way.
  This was a fun, exciting collaboration, featuring just JJ and me, but the rest of the Eclectic Collective will be back with them next time. We hope you enjoy listening to this as much as we enjoyed making it.

I've started posting a few tracks that feature isolated instruments on previously uploaded songs, just for fun. On this one, I've done a bit of a short remix to highlight the nasty harmonica solo at the end of one of my fave songs I collaborated on with the charming & talented Eclectic Collective gang. It was the first time I'd tried playing that style with the heavy echo/reverb effect, and I was surprised how it turned out.

Story time. February seems to bring out my dark side.  Here we have a very bad man about to have his sentence fulfilled. In it, he will receive his final "song". The same "song" that his victims received.

$A$ started proceedings by offering 4 super verses and I threw them in a tune and added the 'I am sith repeated verse' and the light filled drowning of the sith barks at the end. A bit of back and forth musically and voilat... A sith filled multiple personally pine from both sides of the pond! Thanks brother. great words. They drew out more new.

In this song we are both Jedi and Sith. Good and Evil. Truth and Lies! If you can't beat them... Join them...
