Rising US talents Mr. Nuñez & Jhay Vallez touch down on Unnamed & Unknown with a killer two-track EP - Like A Drum. 

East meets West as Stateside artists Mr. Nuñez & Jhay Vallez drop in with a collaborative release on Unnamed & Unknown this February. With releases on a slew of respectable Tech House imprints between them, they deliver a striking duo of Tech House cuts as they make their joint label debut. 

The release opens with the title track ‘Like A Drum’, diving straight into an energetic flurry of drums and rhythmic sub-bass. The rattle of harsh percs, fills, and vox chops blend effortlessly into rising leads and onto weighty drops - followed by undeniably danceable groove segments. 

‘Ladies’ brings the release to a close with more upbeat energy and sturdy drum work. Rippling percs slice through the pounding heart of the track as a gritty bassline drives you forwards alongside punchy kicks and soulful licks. Another solid track with an emphasis on climactic moments and big-room competence!

Davide Mentesana dj producer born in Milan 24/03/1998.
Since the age of 14 he develops a great passion for music, showing a deep interest in the electronic panorama, especially for techno music. 
He played in clubs: The Factory New York, Afrobar, 1800 Lucky Miami , Buongiorno Classic, Listen Brooklyn, Bauhaus Vegas, Amnesia Milan, Rocket Club, Destino Ibiza, Discopussy Las Vegas , Cercle Club, Tantra Ibiza, The Club Milano, Koko Madrid, White Club, Miraya Beach and many other clubs in the world. The turning point came at the age of 16, when he discovers the world of clubs and started playing, achieving great success in the hinterland. 
In 2016 he began to produce his own works, releasing on important labels and obtaining fundamental feedback from artists of international fame, such as Loco Dice, Marco Carola, The Martinez Brothers, Jamie Jones, Joseph Capriati, Luciano, Jean Pierre, Jesse Calosso, Cuartero and many many more. His sound is constantly evolving and growing and is characterized by minimal and tech-house vibes.
