PAWSA presents the second release on his Solid Grooves imprint with three broody house tracks including Tiger Stripes on remixes duties.

One of London’s most popular event series, 2015 has seen Solid Grooves evolve into a label with co-founders Michael Bibi and PAWSA at the helm. With his debut release on Leftwing & Kody’s Lost Records reaching no. 6 in Beatport’s Tech House charts, PAWSA’s entrance into the house and techno scene is envious to say the least, particularly as he followed up with appearances on top tier labels such as Green Velvet’s Relief Records and Nicole Moudaber’s MOOD Records.

Up first, ‘Event Horizon’ unleashes a purring low-end, heady hats and syncopated snares for a menacing, dancefloor focused number geared for the afterhours. Undulating kicks and a groovy bassline then join infectious vocal samples in ‘Separation’, before ‘The Shapeshifter’ delves into deeper territories with subterranean notes, reverbed percussion and a playful melody.
Known for his releases on Drumcode and Desolat, Swedish producer Tiger Stripes ties things together with a rolling remix of ‘Event Horizon’ featuring vocal moans, mesmerising atmospherics and ominous bursts of synths.

Rising newcomer Jholeyson makes a stunning debut on Hot Creations with Discow, a fantastic two track release that draws inspiration from an eclectic range of musical genres.

The 12” begins with the title track Discow. A high-tempo house number, tinny hi hats merge with whip-like kicks, as an infectious vocal gives way to a pumping, four-to-the-floor drop. Plenty rounds off the release in a minimal, pulsing fashion. A squeaking, electronic bassline couples with soft bloops and subtle keys, as soft build ups lead into gently-changing crescendos.

Jholeyson is beginning to make real waves in the scene. Having produced standout releases for the likes of Posh Records, Harvibal and 1994 Music, it was in 2018 that the young upstart launched his own imprint: Sticker Music. Fast forward a year and the Discow EP marks another strong milestone in Jholeyson’s ever-flourishing career.

Davide Mentesana dj producer born in Milan 24/03/1998.
Since the age of 14 he develops a great passion for music, showing a deep interest in the electronic panorama, especially for techno music. 
He played in clubs: The Factory New York, Afrobar, 1800 Lucky Miami , Buongiorno Classic, Amnesia Milan, Rocket Club, Destino Ibiza, Discopussy Las Vegas , Cercle Club, Tantra Ibiza, The Club Milano, Koko Madrid, White Club , Miraya Beach and many other clubs in the world. The turning point came at the age of 16, when he discovers the world of clubs and started playing, achieving great success in the hinterland. 
In 2016 he began to produce his own works, releasing on important labels and obtaining fundamental feedback from artists of international fame, such as Loco Dice, Marco Carola, The Martinez Brothers, Jamie Jones, Joseph Capriati, Luciano, Jean Pierre, Jesse Calosso, Cuartero and many many more. His sound is constantly evolving and growing and is characterized by minimal and tech-house vibes.
