Outstanding progressive/tech house release from David Garcet who up until a month ago I'd never even heard of. Its rare to find such quality in all 3 tracks on the same record. The production and mastering is very tight and crisp. Nothing is out of out balance here, total harmony. Ero on the A side is spacey outdoorsy with atmospheric undertones and a female vocal that gives this track a feeling of peace and serenity along the lines of Deadmau5's "Faxing Berlin". "Long" on the flip is one is more of a tech house vibe. Its one of those tracks that's really simple, but oh-so uplifting and effective. There's 2 basslines, the first is a 1 noter that sounds like it was pitch bent, its very peace division-esque. Then later a second pumping bassline is introduced that really adds momentum. I'd give anything to be standing in front of a stack of JBL's when someone played this.

Biography ; Christine Hoberg
Christine Hoberg is a singer-songwriter and producer based in Minneapolis-New York City, formerly Wisconsin. She has written and recorded music since her childhood growing up in her parent’s radio station, bouncing vocals and instrumental tracks to cassette and later producing on various DAWs she learned in her teenage years.

When she was 19 she was picked out of 32,000 applicants for a music internship at Fanscape in Los Angeles as part of Mastercard's 'Priceless Experience' contest. In 2011, she was picked as a top 5 finalist in Spin Magazine's Pop-Up Live contest. SPIN Senior Editor David Marchese and Tom Windish said of Hoberg, 'This singer-songwriter was a fun respite from the surfeit of rock bashers that entered the contest. But Hoberg’s soulful vocal style and mellow accompaniment set her apart.'

Her style is ethereal, dark electronic pop. Her style is well-loved by fans of Björk, Florence and the Machine, St. Vincent, Radiohead, Portishead, and Fiona Apple. She loops live and integrates her production featuring moody vocals, synthesizers, and live percussion.

She has earned a Platinum record for her writing and vocals on Flight Facilities and her track, ‘Clair de Lune’. 'Clair de Lune' was voted #17 on Triple J's Hot 100 contest. She won Song of the Year and Album of the Year at the Radio Milwaukee Music Awards for her collaborations with Milwaukee producers Kiings.

Her writing has been featured on Grey’s Anatomy, Telstra, Liberty Bank, BBC Radio 1, Spin Magazine, Sony Pictures Entertainment, and performed with the Melbourne Symphony Orchestra. She has performed at Iceland Airwaves, Homegrown Music Fest, and Summerfest, as well as in seven countries and across the United States.

A modern artist with regular releases, he is a key music producer and DJ in the electronic music scene, whose attention-grabbing music holds great surprises for music enthusiasts worldwide. Over the years he has productively released a number of noteworthy tracks and remixes of tracks by the likes of Haze-M Thodoris Triantafillou, Batsi Grub, Garance, Ron Flatter, Sid le rock, Juan Deminicis, Kolombo and many more. He has had several fruitful mentions on Niconé’s renowned label Dantze, as well as numerous remarkable releases on the prominent Progressive House label Manual Music. Not to mention a significant track record in other music labels including Tulipa recordings, Emerald & Doreen and of course Jane Music Agency, the latter being a fruit from his own labour.

He maintained a base in the Thai capital for a number of years. His music experiences and maturity landed him on some of the region’s most illustrious stage. Through these experiences he noticed just how profoundly the music landscape in Asia was developing to welcome less mainstream genres. Inspired by this growth, David Garcet in partnership with Mjane created Jane Music Agency, an establishment that acts as a bridge between the electronic music industry in Europe and Asia. Inevitably becoming a pioneering venture that is helping shape the Asian underground music scene all whilst contributing to the industry in Europe, pushing the boundaries in both markets to explore and unveil fresh talent for global music fans. What started as an artist agency rapidly developed into a music label. The announcement of the label’s official creation was followed shortly after by the gleeful revelations of several EP releases, curated by artists on the label. The first of which “Tokniko” is a track produced by Mjane and David Garcet, due for release on 6th March 2020 with a series of impressive remixes by K.E.E.N.E., Samer Soltan and The Timber Taal. The second EP will follow shortly after, “Another Line” by David Garcet and Marie Lenoir is set to be issued on 15th May 2020, with remixes by Haze-M, Thodoris Triantafillou and Just Her. With so many exciting announcements already being shared, there is no doubt there are more bombshells heading our way in the near future!

Are you ready for Jane Musica's first release?
The wait is over, we are thrilled to reveal the first release on Jane Musica! The track 'Tokniko' is brought to you by Mjane and David Garcet, released as part of an extended collection of remixes orchestrated by other well-respected music luminaries. This not only marks a big milestone in the label's history but the return of this dynamic DJ/producer duo. They are renowned for their punchy and vibrant energy, and this track definitely lives up to their unbelievable past music accomplishments. It has attracted the likes of K.E.E.N.E, Samer Soltan and The Timber Taal, who have all remixed it and also feature on this first release.

The original track was curated with the world's dancefloors in mind. Just like their previous tracks the duo has created an infectious beat which will have music fans around the globe moving their feet to. It definitely echoes previous releases recorded by the duo for Manual Music and Dantze but unfolds a different flavour in the pair's musical palette. The two have forged an impressive career in the industry as individual artists, both credited for their unforgettable vigour and energy. Together they convey in their music a distinctive but unique liveliness, making each track completely irresistible. Prepare yourself for an exhilarating groove with subtle oriental influences that are carried on a heavy beat formed by percussions, string harmonies and vocals. An alluring combination that creates an impeccable and tantalising ambiance.

K.E.E.N.E's remix further amplifies the track's catchy and contagious nature. Their signature style is clearly recognisable in the way that they have mixed the original track, with influences that they have attributed in their work previously. Layers of Tech House and Afro House are added to create a sort of tribal ritual effect, as well as a break in the track that will have music fanatics screaming for more.

The remix written by Samer Soltan offers a more progressive tone to the original track, a thrilling journey through melodies that evolve throughout, in addition to big harmonies and mesmerising sounds that completely envelop you as you listen through. The sort of music that keeps you dancing into the early hours of the morning, it instantly invigorates and energises. Samer Soltan's 'Into Yam' on Monaberry had greatly impressed us, we are honoured to have him join us on this first release.

The Timber Taal has created a version that highlights analog sounds represented by big synth reverberations, oscillators and resonances. These characteristics are significant to his music style, all of which he's mastered and perfected into this track to give it even more power than it already has. From the second the track begins you notice his heavy and hard-hitting musical panache. This remix will go down particularly well with underground music fans. An unbelievable start for this artist on the label, we are certain this will not be the last we speak of him.

Also remixed by the original track owner himself, David Garcet also lends his hand to adding more levels to his production. Aiming to create a much more serious ambiance in this rehashed version, with a groove that reminds us of old school underground sounds. Each resonance is carefully amplified, and has even more emphasis put on it to produce a much deeper and darker setting. The combination of these heavier elements is done in such a way that they flow and blend in seamlessly to ultimately generate a delicious bite of Deep Tech. If the original version wasn't good enough already then this certainly provides something utterly showstopping.

The entirety of this first release is nothing short of sensational. Each track conceals an exceptional sound and style created by an outstanding and esteemed group of artists which we are privileged to have join us on this new journey with our label.
