On the remix duties, Cuttin' Headz associate Jean Pierre turns 'My Only Friend' into a basement destroyer by rising the tempo and adding 909 blasting drums.

Three sumptuous offerings of quality grooves from the Aesthetic series, as Paris club scene fave Djebali and Argentinian DJ and producer Jorge Savoretti join forces once again. This choice trio definitely veers on the side of the under rather than overstated, preferring to rely on warm rhythmic flourishes and enticing, inviting instrumentation rather than thumping firepower or gimmickry. The beats are tight and hypnotic, with perhaps just the slightest hint of a nod to the shuffling drum machine funk of early Derrick May productions like 'Nude Photo' here and the more head-nodding repetition of Chicago jack house there. Aesthetically pleasing for sure.

David Gtronic has spent years shaping his own path in the electronic music scene, constantly evolving while staying true to the essence of his sound. After relocating to Berlin in 2013, his career took off globally, landing him sets at Sunwaves, Episode Festival, The BPM Festival, and a residency at the legendary Club der Visionaere. In 2019, David launched Personality Disorder Music, a label that serves as a platform for artistic expression beyond the conventional.
