Pushing myself to write in different ways, this track is heavily inspired by John Prine. I wanted to do something fun and quirky. I also realized that I had never written a song for my girlfriend, so here you go Darlin'.

New York Kind of Love (demo)

On April 20 and 21 2018, I was fortunate enough to host a Q&A with Michael Horse after preview screenings for a new film he stars in. On the first night, I was honored by being asked to play a set before the show. I worked on some unusual material, including a cover of Julee Cruise's I Float Alone. The live version is just me, an acoustic guitar, and harmonica. Unfortunately, the recording quality was poor (my fault) and not usable. So, to celebrate the 2 year anniversary of the movie preview, I recorded an all new version. I hope you enjoy.
