Uber-talented upcoming indie electronica artist Ignatius (http://soundcloud.com/iamignatius) has given my track 'Not Around' a complete retro-camp makeover which he's described as, "kind of Pump Up The Jam mixed with Yazoo mixed with Madge mixed with bleeps." 

I wrote 'Not Around' on 11 January 2011 as bit of a spontaneous Garageband project. The lyrics are reflections of a relationship where I felt neglected and tired of competing with the other person's busy lifestyle.

The song goes a little like this: 

Every little thing that you say to me, 
That you wanna do, 
It don't mean a thing, 
If you're not... 
If you're not around... 

If you really mean all the things you say, 
What you gotta do, 
Is to make change. 
And learn... 
Learn to stay around.

I wrote 'Running Away' some two years ago for a super talented R&B singer/songwriter/producer called Robben Daniels. 

Long story short, Robben didn't end up doing anything with it, and I grew to love the song as my own - so here it is, presented to you by yours truly.
