A song that depicts my sadness for the homeless population......In working with the homeless population, I have come to determine that many of them were once hardworking people, even Veterans of the Armed Forces that are just now at a point in their life where they have either given up or are on the brink of giving up do to loss of job. Yes, some of them have drug and alcohol issues, and some of them are also with a serious mental illness. Let's do what we can to still try and feed them and not forget about them. Nobody deserves to be without a roof over their head and without food. Even prisoners get better treatment.
