@jialiu asked me to make a playlist for the "Reading and Listening Group – towards the Zeitgeist(s) of Computer Music and Music Informatics" at the Hochschule für Musik Karlsruhe. As a result I made this mixtape of different experimental brazilian music, from different periods, that either were very influential to me or that I just found out about recently but really connected with. Also features some snippets of live recordings of me playing with other people :)

Reading and Listening Group  – towards the Zeitgeist(s) of Computer Music and Music Informatics

An experiment with homemade percussion instruments. An old pickle jar and an oven pipe covered with fur, drums made of spruce wood, a bamboo tube as a rattle that wanders throughout the entire piece along with the bass. There are also grungy guitars and drums.
