This song always reminds me of this little coffee shop I went to as a young (er) guy, The blue Jackalope.
Every sunday morning a few of us would get together and run through all of these beautiful jazz standards. It was a coffe shop/grocery store.
And it was a big deal for there to be a grocery store there because there wasn't another one for many miles. 
And everyone loved Django's music. So rare in Oklahoma. There where hippies, junkies, business owners, hipsters, working folks.. just organic community. Totally non gentrified and it was just a really sweet time. And so much talent, everywhere you looked. 
Sometimes the stars just align like that. What I really remember when I hear this song was this singer, Gwen Ransom. She was as legit as any of the great Jazz singers you'd think of, Etta James, Sarah Vaughn, Nina, Billy H. Etc.
I was lucky that this was one of the places where I " Cut my teeth " as a musician.
