TECH CLUBBERS PODCAST W/ LUCAS FREIRE

Lucas Freire started his DJ career in 2000. His great technical ability, superbness in the mixes, and his vigorous way of expressing himself through music in the DJ booth made him one of the leaders in and of the Brazilian Techno scene.
In 2004 he made his first tour in Europe and became known internationally. As expected, the European public acceptance was outstanding and Lucas spent the following 2 years traveling the old continent to perform at some of the most import clubs and festivals.
Since 2007 he lives in Barcelona, Spain, where he continued to evolve in his career, managing his record label Devotion Records with his partner Fernanda Martins and developing his work in the studio.

Juan Camilo Valencia Aka Valencia was born in Medellin on November 2, 1993, Valencia began his career as a DJ in 2018, studying at Academia decibel. 

He is characterized by its hypnotic, mental, and groovy sounds, looking for an atmosphere with versatile sounds, broadcasting a unique musical selection.

Co Owner of Dark Techno Collective, a project with which, started in Denver, in December 2019; to continue it in his hometown. Today the collective has been positioning itself in the development of events, and its D ∆ R K SESSIONS podcast.

His music is influenced by artists such as: Luke Slater, Cari Lekebusch, The Advent, Ben Sims and by the new wave of artists such as Temudo, Rene Wise, Vladimir Dubishkyn, Arthur Robert, Arkan, Marrón, among others. 

He has had the opportunity to share the booth with artists such as Chlär, David Meiser, Developer, Rene Wise, Deraout, Kriss Salaz, Juli Monsalve, Arzax, Räme, and others.

With over 24 years of experience, he made his appearance at prestigious events such as Awakenings, Apokalypsa & Aquasella and has his tracks supported by artists like Slam, KlangKuenstler, Shlomo, Dave the Drummer & Cleric.

Both his DJ sets (using 3 turntables) and his live-acts are examples of high-quality DJing, technical ability and force, making him a well-rounded DJ and particularly the stand-out artist from the South of Spain. David has become the most prolific techno producer in Spain. In Europe, he’s also known as “La Joya Española” (The Spanish Jewel).
