In this release, David Meiser investigates the influence of mathematics on his work. Specifically, the patterns generated in a type of spiral called the «Fibonacci Spiral», which can be found in numerous processes that occur in nature, such as the formation of galaxies or the stages of development of the embryo.

It is the Spanish producer's first work not exclusively oriented to the dance floor. The EP is conceived as a research project where music and mathematics are intertwined to give rise to a journey of fractal nature through the succession and variation of sounds.

In addition, the author has worked on a special version of the tracks intended to be interpreted by Artificial Intelligence (AI) engines. For this purpose, special WAV format files (192KHz, 32b) have been created what allows messages and instruments to be stored in bands that are not audible to humans, but which computers can access.

The EP is accompanied by a DOCUMENTARY where the entire creation process is explained. It can be watched here:

Aquí afuera no hay sonido, sólo oigo mi respiración y los latidos del corazón.

Floto a la deriva en este océano de vacío. Rodeado del todo y de la nada, que es lo mismo.

Y me doy cuenta de que no se puede crear la nada, sólo nombrarla. Si la pienso desaparece sin llegar a saber realmente qué es.

Vago sin rumbo cayendo por esta espiral que todo lo arrastra hacia una parte del espacio donde aún no llegó el tiempo.

Mecido en una oscuridad salpicada sólo por puntos de luz de estrellas que ya murieron. Ahora es mi turno, me iré con ellas...

There is no sound out here, I only hear my breathing and my heartbeat.

I float adrift in this ocean of emptiness. Surrounded by everything and nothing, which is the same thing.

And I realize that nothing can be created, only named. If I think about it, it disappears without really knowing what it is.

I wander aimlessly falling down this spiral that drags everything towards a part of space where time has not yet arrived.

Cradled in a darkness dotted only by points of light from stars that have already died. Now it's my turn, I'll go with them...
