For our sixth podcast, we present the techno heavyweight David Moleon a highly experienced DJ and producer with a career spanning 24 years. He has graced the lineups of renowned events such as Awakenings, Apokalypsa, Aquasella, Holi Festival of Colors Fabrik, Technoflash, Family Club, Montagood, and The End of the World. With a focus on mixing, music technology, web design, and sound technology, David has established himself as a well-rounded artist.

His tracks have garnered support from notable artists like Slam, KlangKuenstler, Regal, Shlomo, and SHDW & Obscure Shape. David showcases his technical prowess and forceful style in both DJ sets on three turntables and live performances. Hailing from the South of Spain, he stands out as a standout figure in the techno scene.

David embarked on his production career in September 2006, releasing his first track, and has since contributed over 350 tracks to the market. In March 2014, he achieved viral success with his hit "San Salvador," amassing over 6,000,000 views. Recognized as the most prolific techno producer in Spain, he is dubbed "La Joya Española" (The Spanish Jewel) in the European music scene.

Renowned for his three-deck sets, Moleon delivers high-quality, technically skilled, and powerful performances, establishing himself as the most prominent artist from the south of Spain. Releasing his first record in 2006, he has now released around 500 records to this date. He has also been featured in prestigious events such as Awakenings, Free Your Mind, Aquasella, to name a few.

We expected a one-hour podcast as usual; instead, David gave us 2.5 hours of real hardgroove sound.

David Moleon is a Spanish DJ and producer with more than 29 years of experience in the electronic music scene.

He has performed in countries such as France, Italy, Portugal, the Czech Republic, Slovenia, Croatia, Germany, Poland, Bosnia, Hungary, Switzerland, Serbia, and Cuba, among many others.

Both his DJ sets and live acts are packed with energy, groove, and exceptional technical skill. He's known for his tight mixing, powerful presence, and dedication to the purest form of techno. David is widely regarded as one of the most prominent techno artists from southern Spain.

He began his journey as a producer in September 2006, releasing his first track, and now has over 500 tracks on the market across numerous labels.

In March 2014, he released the viral hit “San Salvador”, which quickly became a techno anthem with over 6 million views.

In 2007, David founded his own label, Moopup Records, a platform that showcases his unique vision of techno: raw, punchy, and full of identity.

Today, David is recognized as the most prolific Spanish techno producer, and in Europe, he is known as “The Spanish Jewel.”

Tanto sus DJ sets como sus live acts están cargados de energía, groove y una enorme destreza técnica. Destaca por su precisión en las mezclas, su carácter arrollador y su compromiso con el sonido más puro del techno. Es considerado uno de los artistas techno más destacados del sur de España.
