Nascido na capital, JAN-X​ é um dj e produtor que não só nutre uma "profunda paixão pela música", mas também pela arte. Na casa dos 30, João Neves encontrou o seu heterónimo nas alcunhas de adolescente, Janeca e Janex, associadas a um dos fatores que mais o marcou durante os primeiros anos na música electrónica, o X-Club.

Foi entre os 12 e os 13 anos, no entanto, que começou a conhecer este tipo de música através de um vizinho dj, mais precisamente as sonoridades house de Chicago. Sem nunca experimentar uma mesa de mistura ou entrar numa discoteca, já "a matemática envolvida era clara" para o artista.

Numas férias de verão nos anos 90, o lisboeta trabalhou "para comprar um par de Technics". "Assim começou tudo", adianta, acrescentando que foi também nesses anos que começou a frequentar as emergentes raves, especialmente nas já referidas X-Club. Por essa altura deu os primeiros passos como dj, onde atuou em after-hours e matinés, por exemplo.

Hoje, JAN-X vê o techno e o house como "a melhor forma de transmitir a energia". Descreve a música como "algo simplesmente mágico que nos envolve e sincroniza na mesma vibração". Fala dela com paixão, realçando a sua "capacidade de unir as pessoas" e de servir como ponte para exprimir sentimentos. Afinal, foi através dela que conheceu grande parte dos seus amigos.

Nos últimos tempos, o lisboeta editou trabalhos na Magna Recordings de Carlos Manaça, ou até na Minar Records e na alemã Code2 Records. Mas independentemente disso, JAN-X sente que está num nível que o deixa satisfeito, embora acredite "que ainda tenho muita margem de progresso". 

"A trabalhar na música de forma cada vez mais intensa e a melhorar de dia para dia", JAN-X, com a sua participação neste segundo episódio de N'A Cabine, conduz-nos durante duas horas por entre uma odisseia "futurista" envolvida pelo "groove" que o carateriza.

David Moleon is a Spanish DJ and producer with more than 29 years of experience in the electronic music scene.

He has performed in countries such as France, Italy, Portugal, the Czech Republic, Slovenia, Croatia, Germany, Poland, Bosnia, Hungary, Switzerland, Serbia, and Cuba, among many others.

Both his DJ sets and live acts are packed with energy, groove, and exceptional technical skill. He's known for his tight mixing, powerful presence, and dedication to the purest form of techno. David is widely regarded as one of the most prominent techno artists from southern Spain.

He began his journey as a producer in September 2006, releasing his first track, and now has over 500 tracks on the market across numerous labels.

In March 2014, he released the viral hit “San Salvador”, which quickly became a techno anthem with over 6 million views.

In 2007, David founded his own label, Moopup Records, a platform that showcases his unique vision of techno: raw, punchy, and full of identity.

Today, David is recognized as the most prolific Spanish techno producer, and in Europe, he is known as “The Spanish Jewel.”
