Setting up the Polyfusion thought I'd check out the LFO as an audio source. Not bad! It tracks over 5 octaves nicely and passes off as a decent VCO.
1 VC LFO is the only sound source. Then it is a hi and lo pass filter and an envelope to control them..

Back in the day I had a gorgeous Buchla 200 system. The rhythmic elements were made on that system. Apart from that it would have been Wavestation EX, Serge Modular and Yamaha TX816 as well as my trusty Roland S-750 turbo sampler. Enjoy!

An early track of mine! I was still experimenting with all styles and was cleary influenced by  Paul Hardcastle, but still, I enjoyed amking the track and it's fun. It was released by R&S without me knowing about it and unfortunately credited to the wrong artists. 
So it's my track and I made it in the R&S studio in maybe 1988.
TX802, Emulator III, 808 mainly.

Phenol Kilpatrick. Power up test.

30 minutes spare so I threw this together. Multitracked and 
all sounds are kilpatrick Phenol. Mixed in logic with delay. That's all.

I will do a better song when I find time but figured a few people want a rough idea of Phenol.

Just Phenol.  I wanted to make a straight bass sound and got carried away. Ended up sounding somewhat Schulze-ian!
It's certainly a serious synthesiser. Capable of shaming some big boys.

I took a string patch and tweaked it. Quite easy to work with and I like this kind of digital ;-)
