What makes a good Ecstatic Dance journey ?
Is it about the music? the feelings? the flow? the connection to dancers?
Probably a bit of all that. The sure thing is: the state of the group after the dance never lies.

I haven't published a DJ-set for a while, and it was hard to choose one.
This set was recorded in Paris on the 12/03/22, a Saturday night at the end of the winter, with my local community.
After the dance, we couldn't leave each other, experiencing a natural high made of love, joy and presence.

This set is representative of the sound I was searching for at this time : a balance between recent tracks of Bass music, Downtempo, Tribal and a lot of my goldies tracks, revisited and weaved into an Ecstatic Dance journey, with surprises, exploration of different types of feelings, beats and movements.

My work has now evolved into new directions but this set is still an important step for me.
I hope you'll like to hear it as we loved to dance on it.

A Kind Of Magic ⋅ an Ecstatic Dance journey by David Nadasi

This Ecstatic Dance set is my most accomplished recorded set to date. You'll find the core of my current favorites tracks of the moment and a musical journey where grace and lightness, trance and meditation, depth and sacredness meet.

The story of this set follows that of the pandemic. It captures the flurry of activity that followed for me during the 2022/23 season. Begun in Paris, then refined and distilled in Montpellier, La Rochelle, at the Festival des Jouissives, Anima Festival and, finally, Marseille where it was recorded, each time providing memorable moments on the dance-floor.
