Yearning is the lead single from Reveries, the new collaborative EP from Danish producer Marchel Mørk (Infralyd) and Colorado-based Marshall Usinger (Be Still the Earth). Primarily inspired by the concept of daydreams, while also influenced by the desire to create heartfelt music while physically being located oceans apart, the four tracks on Reveries are truly atmospheric, cinematic experiences with deep ambient and neo-classical flourishes.

The windy city of Esbjerg, is where i've had my residency for the past 3 years. It is a strange city, filled with both heartwarming people as well as a carpet of solitude. The city is furthest to the west as you can go in Denmark, the opposite side of Copenhagen where i'm from. Esbjerg is the last city before the seventh sea.

"Seventh Sea" is the first of 4 singles, all inspired by the city of Esbjerg and the surrounding areas.

Recorded at Huset Esbjerg in Denmark with a Yamaha U1 upright piano.

Silence Becomes Her

David Nørlund is a Copenhagen based composer and artist. Known for his work within electronic and neo-classical music.

Located in Copenhagen, he draws inspiration from both the capital city and it's fast paced lifestyle, as well as the down-tempo living of his past years, living at the western coastline of Denmark. The opposite side of Denmark from the capital.

David is also known for his work as a film composer, most recently for the danish youth series "Vakuum" and the danish indie-film "DREAM STATE" by Asger K. Bartels. Which won the award for "Best Music" at the Top Indie Awards in Tokyo as well as many other awards.

Kulturbunkeren wrote in their review of the movie Dream State:

"The music is without a doubt the biggest force of the film. The 80s synthesizer has rarely been used as well in danish film as in the hands of David Nørlund. It's unimaginable that David has never composed for a feature film before, as his soundtrack is nothing less than phenomenal."

Besides his work within neo-classical. He is also known as the electronic musician and singer/songwriter "David Dear" as well as his work within club-culture, DJ'ing and releasing music with the moniker "Divad".  He also holds a  masters degree in Electronic Music and Soundarts from the Danish National Academy of Music, where he has also been awarded the Entrepreneur Price by the Danish Musicians Association in 2018.
