As I'm laid up with a bad back, I thought I would smash out a quick mashup.  It needs lot of work but I think it could work with more tweaks?  What do you think?

Rizzo Licks Mashup (Rizzo TDV Mix Vs 20 Fingers) - MyMateDaveTheDJ Hi NRG Lick Mix

Next in the series of diazepam, back pain induced mashups is this one, with two heavyweights adding their own flavour to this mashup.

Let me hear the DJ by Miss Peppermint is an underated track, probably because it's difficult to get in the UK.  The trance version is simple but epic and was crying out for a vocal.  Tukan, Light a Rainbow is one of my favourite tracks ever.  Before that release, I was already playing Green Court stuff which was epic but Light a Rainbow was his masterpiece.

Anyway, as I'm still laid up with a bad back and I thought I would try and combine the two. The vocal is in a different key but I think it still works and adds flavour to the baseline track.  There are a couple of other cheeky euro vocal samples in here too - see if you can spot them.

My Mash Ups Maximum NRG Mini Mix - Sep 2025

Recorded at a recent house party.

I turned up at the party with just my laptop not expecting to actually play, however as house parties go I ended up putting a few tracks on.  The caveat to the night was that you could only use one folder in your music library at random, chosen by those at the party.  Well this is the result.

Typical house party vibe to this one.  I'm not mixing on equipment that I am familiar with and the tracks are picked at random whilst chatting with mates. But that’s what I love about a house party, the point was to keep it moving.
