Shelter is our latest release from Clint Stewart and it's a benchmark in the catalog as it's the first time any of our releases have included a remix. And, for that remix, we showed no restraint, commissioning our very own, man of the hour, Stephan Hinz.

As you dive into the first cut off the EP, 'Shelter', you instantly begin to take an excursion into the ethereal. Shimmers of distant audible light flicker in the backdrop as a hypnotic pulse tightens its grip, strapping you in for a trip deep into celestial territory. Long single blasts of deep bass and racing percussion thrust you further into the void until you're far from your point of origin. 'Shelter' is a journey into the vast, ever expanding reaches of impassioned sonics ideal for deeper dance floor antics.

On the flip is 'L714' and much like 'Shelter' it's a cosmic ride, but differs in the fact that it is exceedingly relentless. Eery string like tones and massive low end bursts set the stage for a narcotic, swirling lead that parallels a comet hurtling through the ether. Bits of it falling apart and leaving a visible tail of particles in it's wake creating the ideal flip to 'Shelter'. Where both originals may have left something to be desired for those who want it heavy, Stephan Hinz fills that void. While staying undeniably true to the original 'L714', he adds only what he felt was missing. Taking the original to new heights with colossal drums and tension displayed with the arrangement of a cinematic masterpiece derived from another world. Overall, the 'Shelter Ep' is a complete package, hitting all emotions and leaving nothing to be desired no matter the time or situation.

Core Ellum Audio artist Dino Lenny returns to the label with two more of his deeply enchanting techno cuts. As well as running his own Fine Human Records, Lenny has fine credits on landmark imprints such as Cocoon, Damian Lazarus’ Crosstown Rebels, Diynamic, Innervisions and of course Ellum Audio. He is constantly evolving and honing his sound, which is atmospheric as well as infectious. His work on Ellum perfectly fits in with this label’s cinematic style and that continues here.

The excellent ‘Gauss’ ft Black Mami is slick future tech built on busy bass that rattles up and down the scales with real presence. Laser like synths search across the face of the track and it all builds to a rapturous peak that will have the floor going wild.

PREMIERE: Dino Lenny - Gauss ft Black Mami (Original Mix) [Ellum]

As always it is a great pleasure to give you another SNOEflakes. The tradition of bringing together four unique tracks on a V.A. is such a beloved format because it showcases new talent as well as established names, always delivering music of the highest quality. 

First off is Malikk. Based in Southern France he has quickly become a global player known for his unique take on House and Tech House. His track “Aah Magic” is exactly this, a groovy and driving tune with funky synths and perky percussions, which brings a positive vibe and a good portion of electricity to the dance floor. Second in the line is label boss Beth Lydi with her loved “Black Sheep”. As we know from Beth, it is naughty and fierce. In known style she delivers a massive bassline under griddy synths that just explode in a groove-frenzy. 

SNOE also welcomes the Paris based Filthy French to the family. Their style is twisted and addictive, and their track “Ritmo” bears influences of Acid and Techno but with a modern take on the soundscaping of the genres. As the main synth twists and twirls it’s accompanied by the vocal elements, together creating an intense energy. Following this we are met by another new face. Hailing from San Francisco, Jake Kaiser has joined the boat with a beast of a tune. “She Said” is a fury of wicked sounds. Although the track has a slightly dark vibe to it, it delivers such a massive groove and a kind of continuously evolving force that will make it impossible to stand still on the dance floor.

Passionned by electronic music, he naturally turns to decks and started playing in clubs and after parties in his own country. 

In 2005, he met the person who became his collaborator and friend Willy Real, he went into production and make releases on labels such as Inlab Recordings / Parquet Recordings / Manual Music / Baroque Records, Natura Viva Music…

December 2010 they decided to launch their own label : Inlab Recordings on which they had signed artists as Traumer, N'To, Worakls, David Durango, Sid Le Rock, Marc Poppcke, Van Hai, Lanny May, Boss Axis, Deepfunk…

For 3 years he regularly on the biggest techno events such as Electrobotik Invasion, Eldorado Circus Show, WeAre Together, Nuit Rouge, Vision Music, Blackout Invaders, Spartacus Club, Villa Rouge and artists such as Laurent Garnier, Loco Dice, Maceo Plex, Derrick May, Oliver Huntemann, Boris Brejcha, Ben Klock, Extrawelt, Anja Schneider, Pan Pot and most recently, the first international bookings in Spain, Thailand, Czech republic and South Africa.

Oscillating between melodic techno and deep techno, his sets are always incredibly effective.
