Here's a cover of "Glorious Ruins" by Hillsongs that I posted on YouTube back in February 22, 2016. This is one of my favorite worship songs, but it's also one that I can never memorize how to play, which does kind of frustrate me. At the time I recorded this song, I had a light fever but even so, this turned out to be one of my favorite video covers and in my opinion is one of my best works. Here's my cover of The Maine's "Am I Pretty?" I uploaded this to YouTube a few months ago (March to be exact). This song just hit home for me. With all the names I've been called, the people who have stepped on me, the emotional scars inflicted on me by people who were very near and dear to my heart, the feeling of always being left out and not wanted, for always being judged because of my... questionable facial and bodily features, and everything else; it was a song I was able to relate to on a personal level. I definitely was able to picture myself in the middle of a room filled with funhous mirrors asking: "am I pretty?" If you're like me, I just want you to know that "there's beauty and grace in the flaws of your face. All candor and style in the crook of your smile." I hope you like it. I'm back with a cover of "Nothing For Christmas" by New Found Glory! I have been wanting to cover this song for the past few Christmas seasons but never got around to it (primarily because there was no reason to sing it 🙄). But now I do and it just feels right!😀 So to that one person who I got for Christmas, "don't get me nothing. I got what I wanted. It's you!" ❤
