August was the first “serious” composition I ever wrote. I was hungry to prove to the world that I was a “real” musician. Whenever I listen to this composition, I am filled with intense nostalgia. A deep longing for the feelings, the emotions, and the atmosphere of my youth.

I think you look real fine to me, the way that you are.

a track I have been working on with plex for a while now.  each time I try to turn it into a real song it gets worse.  this is the original sketched idea I sent to plex.  the drums and the bass guitar are https://soundcloud.com/plex-auchta , and the vocals (all way too many of them) are me.

I may return to this song again some day and try again, but for now this is it.  as always, thank you very much for your ears.  I love that I have people to make and share these silly songs with :)

Goodnight, My Dear

I am a composer and guitarist from Latvia, Riga based in Cologne, Germany, who is specialised in different kinds of music. I draw my main influences from jazz, classical music, jazz fusion and post-rock.

In 2022 I moved to Cologne, Germany to study Jazz Composition MM program at the Hochschule für Musik und Tanz Köln

2018-2022 I studied jazz guitar performance in Latvian music academy BA program (Jāzepa Vītola Latvijas Mūzikas akadēmija) 

Also I studied music at the Dynamic Records Music School music production and sound engineering. (2016-2017)

My musical education has thus far consisted of taking private guitar lessons and attending Ventspils Music College’s (Ventspils Mūzikas vidusskola) pop and jazz guitar program (2013-2016).
