Fred P has been holding it down for the Big Apple’s house scene for over a decade, originally under the name Black Jazz Consortium but also as Fred P and a series of other aliases (among them Anomaly and FP197). Early press around Fred tied him in with a revival of sorts in the New York house community, but although there’s clear links – both musically and personally – to the likes of Jus Ed and DJ Qu, there’s a subtle virtuosity and eccentricity to Fred’s records that makes him his own man, even at their most simple. It’s telling that he’s not content to release singles: between Fred P and Black Jazz Consortium he’s released five albums since 2007, most recently working with Tokyo label Mule Musiq on his fifth, simply titled 5.

Fred’s FACT mix was recorded at Berlin’s Dark Flow studios. “I used two Technics 1200s and one CDJ for the last track, and a Pioneer mixer and effects module,” he tells us. “There was no method really, just weeks of pulling records to find the right ones that capture a particular vibe. I hope everyone enjoys this mix as much as I enjoyed putting it together. It’s not perfect but it’s perfect in its imperfection thus making it timeless. Peace, love and respect.”

Dance maestro, production perfectionist, mood-room mix-master but foremost artsy artist and Funnuvojere initiator creator dedicator Massimiliano Pagliara delivers the nintey first episode of the art:cast mix series and summarily did another composition of his last year introduced LSD mixes. The LSD abbreviation stands for LoveSexDreams as the mix-series focuses on music that emphasizes and transports exactly this message in an as perfect manner as one would expect from the Berlin-based artist. That Massi, how close friends call Massimiliano Pagliara, has a preference for funky vibes is also confirmed with his summer-ish take Sunset Funk, which was shortly released on Uncanny Valley. So with his LSD approach he basically continues writing this part of his story, just in an even more diverse, also even funkier way. The first four tracks – unmixed and pure – are musical pieces that were on heavy rotation during the lockdown and are from some of Massi's all time favorite artists, namely Sade, Barry White and Chet Baker. Generally the next chapter of the art:cast series includes music Massi came across during the renovation of his apartment and studio or he has been passionate about for a long time, so thoughtful listeners will recognize Italo records from Sylvi Foster or the crazy melodies from the 80s by Toto Coelo. It's more than LSD, it's a cosmic ride through funky disco vibes, it's an art:cast.

As co-owner of the Superfreq brand with the legendary Mr.C, they have brought their ethos for the underground with doing label showcases, events and of course releasing many chart topping stand out tracks. Since its inception, the label has continually released cutting edge modern dance music designed for the dancefloor and David is key as the A+R, discovering new talent.
Superfreq has a very specific and unique sound which encompasses deep house, house, acid house, tech house techno and electro,With the ethos to encompass cutting edge and tripped out out soundscapes is what keeps Superfreq at the forefront of cutting edge dance music. 
The label has a distinct sound that reflects the sound of the events, playful, mischievous and haunting.
David is a fixture on many of the lineups and label showcases at various events on a global scale. David’s skills, passion, and dedication have taken him across the globe- 
including Berlin’s world famous Sisyphos , Zoo Project Ibiza as well as regular appearances at Desert Hearts, Fabric London, Lightning in a Bottle, Burning Man, Resolute New York, the BPM Festival in Mexico.
He has shared the stage with the likes of Carl Cox, Loco Dice, Marco Carola, Nic Fanciulli, M.A.N.D.Y, Lee Burridge, Claude Vonstroke, Doc Martin, Marc Houle, Magda,Jay Tripwire, Kate Simko, Chloé, DJ T, and Steve Bug.
David coordinates Superfreq events in Los Angeles with events at Avalon, Sound, Le Jardin, Los Globos, Dim Mak & a host of underground warehouse & villa parties. 
The Superfreq brand has a regular foothold in London with events at Fabric, The Steelyard, Bloc, Red Gallery & various underground pop-up warehouse spaces in the English capitol. 
David takes a less is more approach to his production, releasing quality over quantity.
His main focus and vision lies with Superfreq.This hasn’t stopped David from releasing music for  Desert Hearts Black, Resolute, Riff Raff, Desert Hearts, Veryverywrongindeed, Design Forms, We Are Here Music, AA Trax, LW Recordings, Carrillo Music, NOSI Music, Family Grooves, Motek & Compatible Music. 
He has collaborated with such artists as -Dance Spirit, Mikael Stavostrand and Lee Reynolds.
In a sea of over hyped Instagram Dj’s, David maintains being true to his calling.
This approach has garnered him respect among his peers and cemented his place in the underground
