Since the age of seven, Santa Barbara native David Segall has musically expressed his life's experiences - sailor, surfer, Yogi and "son of a preacher man" – and emerging as one of today's most soulful rock and reggae singer/songwriters. From piano, guitar, and music composition as a child, to his first professional performance at age 17, Segall's jazzy-hued pop grooves were influenced by The Beatles, Jack Johnson, and Marvin Gaye. Today, David provides heartfelt performances and is highly sought by venues, charities, and festivals all over the Central Coast and Southern California. His most recent album, Godspeed, features Zach Gill (of ALO and Jack Johnson’s band) on keyboards and was produced by Jesse Siebenberg (A Fine Frenzy, Supertramp, Lissie).
