Working over the course of a month in summer 2024, this project captured a durational recording at each window in my house in Hackney, London. This produced a body of work exploring sameness and difference - the position of the window (front/back, ground/first floor), the weather and/or the time of day; birds, airplanes, cars are all constants but snatches of passing conversation, insects and others sounds are present making each recording unique yet part of the larger whole.
