A country/folk cover of toxic I made for the IMF Undercover event. Guitar was arranged so that it could be played solo at an open mic then just continued to add more layers. What a way to learn I cant sing like Britney Spears but think I did a decent job.

The mix on this is definitely undercooked but I don't have the motivation to put more work in and would kinda defeat the point of the 24 hour challenge aha. Main focus was I guess on trying to make coherant use of space metaphors

Instrumental track I've had sitting around for a while. For years I would just play the backing but lots of people gave feedback that they wanted a melody so I added that on.

Had a few hours left for this challenge after work. Found an old voice memo from 2018 that I had forgot about (to go with the theme 'the forgotten'). This is what plays at the beginning. After figuring out how to play it I just rerecorded it and then added a second guitar adding in a few little bits.

I Wrote A Song

Wrote some riffs and a few months later shared this rough idea on discord and Starcry messaged me wanting to turn it into something real. First real go at a pop punk track, was a lot of fun. Thanks to Starcry for writing the verse lyrics, singing all of it, adding great guitar parts, doing the master, and being a massive help throughout the mixing and arranging process.

This is a song I've had for ages. Its a bitch to play (for my inexperienced hands) and for that reason there was always minor mistakes and parts of it arent as fast as I would like. Though despite that I'm still pretty happy with this piece.
No idea why it's called 'back to normal' but that's what i titled it in an early recording I found.
My friend said it reminded him of 'moon' and suggested i call it 'back to norm-bital' but i thought id leave that painful pun to anyone who bothered to read the description.

I'm very new to music production and i did my best to make this sound more professional but feel free to let me know your thoughts.

This is a song about breaking up, not because you want to, but because it seems like the best thing for both of you. Or maybe thats just how you rationalise it to yourself. Started working on this over a year ago but decided to not redo any of the guitars and do the best I could with it. Maybe that was a bad decision. If I ever decide to rerecord it I could probably make it sound better.  Kinda just wanted to get it out there and move on from the song (for now).

Wrote this track as part of the first Songwriting Blitz game in the Indie Music Feedback Discord. We had 24 hours to write and record a track based on the prompt "The Good Old Days" supplied by the extremely talented Simms (seriously check him out hes great, https://soundcloud.com/musicbysimms). Decided to write a song about how the good old days weren't very good and the punk vibe just kinda happened.
