a minute later smoke in the air and a burning plastic smell
the drive was doubled ram was tripled fan was straight from hell
plugins were installed he could tell
ones and zeros turned to melodies that he could spell

PC got an album out, went platinum in a day. people
stood outside in line for hours just so they could pay
his technique was unachievable, his speed was unconceivable
all in all you'd say it was pretty unbelievable.

but playing riffs wasn't all that he had hoped for
he kind of got sick of it and didn't do it anymore
moral of the story is never play guitar. buy the 
devil sell your PC, keep you savings in a jar

Service Lab - When You Really Need It

Why am I doing this instead of releasing them all at once? Read on...

After much thinking, stressing and discussions, I have decided to pull the plug on my original idea of releasing an official album (with additional remix CD).

Life's been incredible to me these last two years, specifically the teaching / Ableton side of things. This all started flourishing just after I decided to tackle an album. Combine this with the constant touring, I have been left with little time to finish all of my tracks.

Now, I am still going to *release* an album so to speak, but I will we doing it in the way I know best, and the way people have come to expect of me. I will be releasing one track a week, for free over the next few months until all the tracks on the album are out there.

I have also decided to hand the releases that we're originally done by some fantastic artists back to them to do with as they please, because 2 years is a long time to drag other people along with you, and I don't feel comfortable releasing old music as new, especially when it's not my own.

So, I tried - I made a few wrong decisions, and now I am acknowledging it and making it right. That's always how the COSM project has worked, I throw a line out there and see what works and what doesn't, then role with the good stuff.

I'll be putting out my first tune within the next few hours on Soundcloud, so keep an eye pealed.
