STEP ON MY TOES

Getting thin this feelings sinking in
 I think there’s somewhere I’d like to be
Sell all my wares and shave all my hair
Call mum and dad by their first names

I’d lie and pretend it’s easy I’d 
Glide through my worries all day but
If my options are good, and
 Intentions breezy I’ll be
 Calling from miles away  
So this is how this strange thing goes down
 We can try and save money in town
 But when you’re feeling caged in you won’t feel a thing
You stick to your guns and fire away

But if I pay attention and
 Try and remember your birthday

A rough little ditty about being flabbergasted,  appreciation for well built gutters and too much whiskey. Recorded with phone in a big green bus I lived in. Featuring blackbirds and branches for back ups.
