Earthdance International is the  world's largest synchronised music and dance festival for Peace which always takes place in the nearest weekend to the 21st September, the International Day of Peace by the United Nations. 

Hundreds of locations worldwide join a synchronised Global Mediation for Peace at midnight (UCT/GMT) of the 21st September. This collective intention is channeled through the tune and poem “Prayer for Peace”, which is played at the same time all over the world.
