The first ever Dawesome Village Sound Ceremony commenced on 1/17/24.

In conjunction with the Zerus expansion pack release from Spektralisk we are launched our very first Sound Ceremony.

Zerus, a haunting cinematic sound pack, plunges you into the depths of darkness with its spine-chilling atmospheres and ominous tones. Immerse yourself in a world where shadows whisper and echoes linger, as Zerus delivers a symphony of eerie textures and foreboding melodies.

The contributors were inspired to make offerings of sound, which are presented here in all of their glory.

Disclaimer: No one forced anyone to take part in this ceremony. All participants were involved of their own accord as responsible sonic explorers.

Some of the fun experiments in this track:
* All effects in-synth. No mastering effects. LUFS low to minimize clipping.
* The track features 3 different main time signatures with some effort into seamless transitions.
* Melody / arp lines time warped with non-linear time-warping homebrew scrips (sinus and exponential time mapping).
* Multi-instrumental 1/8 echo delay. I.e. the delays are using different Myth instruments.
* Tempo is linearly changing between 90 and 135 BPM during most of the track.
* Sound design. Just random knob turning to taste, LFO stuff and effects.
* All EQs and reverbs are in-synth.
* Most volume mixing with MIDI velocity. (not 100% though).
